Accommodation
One of the first considerations about moving
to Dubai is accommodation. The city offers
a wide range of residential facilities -
from studios to posh serviced apartments,
from villas to apartments and duplexes.
Relocation companies may be contacted for
help with many real estate dealers offering
on-line support including virtual tours
of properties.
While Jumeirah, Barsha and Umm Sequeim are
regarded as upmarket areas, Dubai also offers
cheaper residences in Deira, Bur Dubai,
Rashidiya and Al Ghusais.

Education
Dubai has the entire spread of educational facilities
- from quality kindergartens to advanced technical
education centers and world-class universities.
Most expatriate communities have private schools
offering their country curriculum. School admissions
can be initiated on-line and the actual student
registration is done conveniently later. Though
in most schools the new academic year starts in
April, there are many others, where the new term
begins only in September. The standard of education
at Dubai institutions is high with the UK, American
and Baccalaureate systems offered.

Healthcare
Apart from fully advanced government hospitals,
Dubai has a string of high-profile internationally
accredited hospitals and quality health
centers offering virtually all medical specialties.
It is mandatory for expatriates to have
a government health card that can be used
to receive treatment at the government-managed
hospitals. A number of private hospitals
offer emergency services as well as specialized
treatments.

No taxes
One of the biggest advantages of working in Dubai
is the tax-free packages offered by companies.
As a burgeoning economy, Dubai offers job opportunities
in virtually all sectors - banking and finance,
real estate, human resources, information technology,
business management, education, health, tourism
and trade. The new hubs of the economy, the Dubai
International Financial Center, Dubai Internet
City, Dubai Media City, Dubai Gold and Commodities
Exchange and Knowledge Village have opened a sea
of employment opportunities.
Lifestyle
With a large population of expatriates, Dubai
has a throbbing nightlife with a range of food
and beverage outlets. Cuisines from around the
world are available and weekend evenings are made
lively with live theater, music and dance performances.
Dubai has a number of modern film halls including
IMAX theatres screening the latest Hollywood and
Bollywood blockbusters. Most hotels have dance-floors
with world-famous DJs flying in for regular performances.
